Hi this is Aui! To my husband, I am unpredictable. Nobody can describe me better than he does.
Entrusted with five amazing kids, you will see a bit of me with each one of them, the naughty, the writer, the control freak, the will do everything to have a happy family, and the Que sera sera, whatever will be will be.
I always need a little corner of my den to write and be alone. I survive life’s greatest misfits by writing on my journal every single day. That’s what I did after loosing my eldest son to drunk driving a few years ago and it leads me to publish my first book The Booze Stole My Son (don’t let it steal yours)
My closest friends say I’m funny, battle-tested, and outrageous. I guess because of all the mishaps I’ve gone through in life, I have molded that way.
I have a nursing career that ends up like what Florence Nightingale did a bit, writing things towards everyone’s healing. That is what I hope to accomplish on this blog. I love reading as well. It’s my life.
Thanks for your visit and may you find the force while on this site. I will be very happy to hear from each one of you. My greatest longing is to be connected to every amazing creature this planet produce 🙂
If you would like to read more of my blogs, please visit The Happy Oikos. I love to see you there…..

I love your intro and I’m looking forward to reading your blog 🙂

Nice to meet you Aui. I am deeply saddened by the loss of your son. I only know the pain of having lost three childhood friends to drunk driving and the struggle endured by both of my parents, in a year long battle to survive their injuries from a head on collision with a drunk driver. I look forward to reading your posts. Cheers!

Dear Aui V.,
This is K&L, The Millionaire’s Digest Founder & CEO, and first of all, I just want to say thank you for all the hard work and amazing articles you write for our website! Anyone should be lucky to have someone like you on their team!
Now, I don’t know if you heard this or not, but we’re starting our magazine line as well as coming out with our own app in the app store too. Now my question to you is: Are you in or are you out? As in, would you like a spot to be in it, as well as be in our future magazines too? I mean, I’m coming to the people who are the most important to me first, then I’ll send out a message to everyone else if we still have any spots left. But I’ll need to know before the end of this week is over as I will be going off to college soon too!
Sincerely,
K&L -The Millionaire’s Digest Author & Publisher

Aui,
I am so sorry for your loss. I began my first blog, Friendship of a lifetime, when I lost my best friend of 37 years to a drug overdose. Years earlier, she lost her young brother when illegal immigrants killed him while drunk driving. I don’t know what drove her to addiction, perhaps, it was that loss as I know she never got over it. I’m grateful you have and are continuing to write about the impact of your loss. I can not imagine what you have been through, but my prayers are that you will continue to find solace through your words. I’m so glad you managed to find your way to the Cow Pasture, and I look forward to hearing from you more. Welcome to the fence jumpers. @sheilamgood at Cow Pasture Chronicles

Thank you. I started blogging because of the book I’ve written after losing my son. That is what I am reading from writers I came across, to do a blog. I never knew that I could meet many wonderful people in this blogging community and I am learning so much.
Addiction is a cruel disease and most of the time addiction starts with addiction to alcohol.
Thank you so much and sure I will keep following you 🙂

Thanks. I am now doing a lot of review on the basic of using the social media. And I felt there are thousand of things to learn and it is eating so much of my time. Sometimes I got frustrated I cannot find the time to read and loss as what to do first. I set aside doing my second book which I already started and focus on learning the business of social media. Do you go through this? And what have you done?

The more your blog grows, the more social media becomes a time drain. I understand the need for a platform; however, I have had to put limits on my social media, if I ever want to finish my books. Either I’m a writer or an expert in social media. So, I try to devote a certain amount of time to social media each day, then move on to writing. Hope this helps.

Hey Old Sport, first of all, I just want to say thank you for helping me out on The Millionaire’s Digest.I may not know you very well and you may not know me very well either, but what I do know is this: Me and You make a powerful team, and you’ve got that hard strong work ethic like I do that not many people have. Now I just want to tell you that I’ve upgraded your account, so now you can do so much more on it. I also hope you feel like you’re actually an official owner/administrator of The Millionaire’s Digest And basically what I just did is I’ve given you the power to do pretty much anything and everything that I do. The only thing you can’t do is delete the website, lol, but I trust you enough that you wouldn’t do that.
Oh and speaking of deleting the website, I haven’t really told anyone this, but I’m not sure if I’m going to continue The Millionaire’s Digest. But I mean, I don’t know and not that it’s a bad thing or anything. I just don’t think it’s something for me anymore. So instead of deleting it, I think I’m going to turn it over to the first 10 people (which includes you) who listened to all my directions right straight from the beginning when I first started to allow people to join our team. But I don’t know. And lol, I’m not sick or high or anything. It’s just, I guess I’m not sure.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I’ve upgraded your account so you don’t freak out the next time you come to write an article for it. Thank you again Old Sport for helping me.
Sincerely,
K&L
P.S. – I’m already advertising your book on my website (front page!), and if you need me to add anything else, just let me know! I’m always willing to do whatever it is you need!

Thank you so much. I am receiving messages from followers who are also dreaming of writing at Millionaires Digest. You may never know this but you help me so much on my site, aside from the learnings on your contents, you did a great thing of letting people know about me, my site and especially my book. That means so much to me, because as you know sharing the book is the only way I can keep my son alive. My word would never be enough to express my gratitude to you. And I do not know how to give it back. God bless you and more blessings on your way, Keep up the good work.

Hey Old Sport! Would you like to become one of my Millionaire’s Digest staff members for thousands of my Readers? I’ll put you as one of my only co-authors (1 of 2) where I give you the authorship to write your own article on whatever you want, publish them whenever you, edit them, delete them, add your own photos, and pretty much everything else I already get to do! (Everyone else who asks me I only approve as one of my “contributors” where they can only write and edit their own articles until they go live on The Millionaire’s Digest.)
I’m not asking for you to write every day for us, unless that’s what you want to do! Really, I just want you to be a part of my Millionaire’s Digest team and have you hold the title as Author so that thousands of my Readers will look up to you and see you as one of our professional writers. But that’s all up to you Old Sport! I still and always will respect you no matter what decision you make! 🙂

You’re welcome! And no, thank you!
I just want you to do something to it real quick though! I want you to tag it as a sticky post because as much as I repost all my content, it will probably end up as the last post of the 200+ post I repost every day. for I don’t want that to happen to yours! I mean, I can edit it, but I won’t because I wasn’t the author, and it would be very wrong for me to do without the permission from you. But yes, tag it as a stick post. That way, it will stay at the top of my website no matter how many posts I add!

I’m sorry you have had to suffer such pain and loss. Life can be cruel, but it can also be beautiful. Writing about your monsters helps to deal with them. I wish you the best of luck in doing so.
There are a lot of people here on WordPress who have been through some pretty horrific stuff, and are leaning to cope by sharing their story. All you have to do is reach out, and I’m sure many will take your hand.

Thank you. I just started blogging last month because of the book I published after losing my son. I am amaze with what I am finding here, I never thought of meeting wonderful people here who goes through what I am going through.Sometimes I am asking myself why I have to go through this pain, losing a son and being an incest victim when I was very young. Both are just so devastating that I really cannot go through alone. And I thank God I know I am finding my healing here. Today I don’t struggle much of the pain of losing my son as I have found it’s purpose. What is difficult now is the struggle I am going through with the monsters(guilt, shame, remorse, revenge and all those stuff).Destroying all of them is not very easy and there are times I just feel like dying with my son.And I just cry and cry and cry and pray. And this blog is what I found.Thank you really for your time.I will be very happy to be your friend.

Aui, you will never be alone if you reach out to the wonderful people here. You have enormous grief to deal with–too much to carry by yourself. I’m so glad you could write about the loss of your son. Still, so much to continue working on… Healing the wounds from childhood sexual abuse is overwhelming and finding the people who will understand is critical. You’ve found those people here, Aui ❤️

hi! I’ve been finding it hard to write my article today. i am suppose to write the struggles i am going through and realize one of the most difficult part really is to reveal what i keep hiding within.after being able to share the secret with my husband i thought things was ever only to realize it was not. i keep repeating doing and entering situtaions with the end result of shame, guilt, remorse etc. usually in my finances.it was insane and getting out is always tough. isee victims on the late stage of their lives suffering from this monster and were not able to win although i find some hope seeing some winning.i hope i find the courage today to do what i need to in dealing with this monsters. thank you for reading.

It’s hard to write sometimes when it’s something you are “supposed” to do. Do you ever just free write- like stream of consciousness? I find that helpful when I’m having s hard time saying what I want, or unlocking something that resists coming out. Maybe just start with the sentence “I’m having a hard time writing about this because….” and see where it takes you. I admire your courage, Aui. You keep facing those monsters and you’ll eventually win.

I free write on my journal, i do that first thing in the morning. I was testing the water if I will be comfortable sharing those thoughts outside and I find myself scared and thoughts like what if my cousins read my blogs, what would they think etc. my blogs are share on my fb page and I remove it after posting my article today about incest.i was molested by my cousins when we were all very young.

Oh yes, I get all that. Most of us who write personal life stories get that. There’s always someone we know that will disapprove. I’ve always loved this Ann Lamott quote: “You own everything that happened to you. Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better.”
